Jason R. Manning

Hello fellow writers.  I am a man of many images and changing forms.  While I have a particular style of writing, my patterns are sporadic and dependant upon my mood.  I cherish this community of creative minds.  My only request is that you read my work from a point of neutrality, then condemn or praise me after the fact. 

I was born in 1979 as a resident of California.  Later I moved to Arizona so I could stumble my way through the desert.  Often I feel like an Israelite out here, but greener pastures are not far off. 

I openly discuss politics, human behavior, I love history and I am very religious, but not pious.  I do not practice allegiance to a denomination, I only pray the Lord my soul to keep.  I can enthrall you with emotive force or enlighten you by subtle fact.  What I never cease to use is abrupt humor and brash satire. 

I owe my appetite for intellectual direction to Dennis Prager and Hugh Hewitt.  The writings of Winston S. Churchill have given me a profound look at life.  My family has given me meaningful use and supportive criticism.  What I am lacking in years I make for with my tenacious spirit.  I look forward to conversing with the many gifted individuals here in Hubsville.  

2/25/2011 - I am now a resident North of Seattle having taken a job transfer.  I am hoping the moss doesn't come take me away in the night.  When I said greener pastures are not far off, boy I had no idea...
