Tribute to the fallen: Unapologetic America Must Remain
Honor the Honorable:
The window of opportunity is fleeting. This is the third installment of my presidential election hubs aimed at the march toward November 6th, 2012. We, the American voters are searching for meaning, looking for clues and are praying that one of our two choices will release the pressure threatening to ruin this great land. Dear readers, this life we live must relate to those who stood before us, and we most certainly need to resonate with those whom will follow our dust. Honor is not vainglorious, honor is an achievement earned by currency that cannot be measured. Let not the glow of honor cease to set on America.
Honoring the dead is a duty I feel dedicated to fulfilling. I recognize my own life has no purpose, no direction, no home and no dream to chase if it were not fortified by the sacrificial lambs of our history. I am a father, a son and a husband. There have been no fewer than 1.2 million fathers, son’s and husbands who paid with blood for what I reap today. They do not stand in my judgment; I do not caste a fleeting glance upon their lives, trying to stain what cannot be undone. Who shall stand in the boots of our warriors and caste the first stone, in the meanwhile cowards hide behind principals they didn’t defend? We are forgetting how easy it is to say the past is long gone, only today matters for tomorrow my never come. Why do some of our brothers and sisters feel compelled to blot out any good performed by this Nation? We are walking in dangerous times. The past is ceasing to exist, or worse, it is being scrubbed line by line until no honor remains, only sins in the wake of history.
What is the sin of an enlisted man who died in a foreign theater for no conquest? Who dare apologize for attempting to offer freedom to an oppressed land? Who dare strip away protection from mothers and daughters while in their time of greatest need? Who dares to stand in front of our enemy and cede ground to our detriment? I must ask you, do these things strengthen America? Does a powerful America hurt our chances of fighting poverty, recession, joblessness, inequity, terrorism and moral good? Or does a weak and distressingly less powerful America make our chances of economic recovery, domestic security and global prosperity more likely? Are you honest enough to answer what the truth clearly points to? Are you noble enough to accept the consequences and injuries we will sustain from lowering our standards?
The Honest Enemy and the Hidden Truth:
How do we honor the sons and daughters of Liberty if we sell our freedoms to a false god? Why do many American’s feel guilty for the prosperity we cultivated? Why is it a noble cause to handicap our productivity and ingenuity in order to allow diametrically opposed nations the chance to catch up? These same American’s are the very ones who would disarm law abiding citizens in the face of an armed criminal element. These same American’s exude righteousness from offering a hand to our enemies, saying “we just need to give them an equal voice at our table, which will change their disposition toward us.” Yes, Neville Chamberlain felt the same way about Adolf Hitler after signing a peace treaty. George W. Bush made a fool of himself when he made this statement after meeting with Vladimir Putin,
“I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straight forward and trustworthy and we had a very good dialogue. I was able to get a sense of his soul. He's a man deeply committed to his country and the best interests of his country and I appreciate very much the frank dialogue and that's the beginning of a very constructive relationship,"
Georgia has an entirely different encounter and vision of Putin. North Korea realizes they can play cat and mouse with America and Soul for years, retreating from the table to develop weapons free from effective sanctions while starving its population. Iran’s suicidal leaders are well versed in negotiating for more time. The gross incompetence, naivety and ultimate ignorance of admitting evil says what evil does, is excruciatingly painful to watch.
The Libertarian movement is a wish our enemies long for. A libertarian America would in effect mark the pinnacle of debauchery, decadence, moral bankruptcy and wickedness. Our isolation from the rest of the world would seal our fate while simultaneously starting the countdown to implosion. The Libertarian is an animal of gross incompetence, not by way of measuring oneself, but by way of wholly overlooking the corrupt nature in all who prey upon the weak. The motto “self-regulation” is as childish as thinking our enemies would think better of us if we gave them an equal seat at our table. The honest answer is most American’s cannot handle unfettered freedom. The honest answer is most American’s cannot exercise self-governance. We proudly push the meaning of what excess is until the meaning need be reformed to encapsulate new boundaries never before imagined. Let’s face it, our innovation enriches the pursuit of our endless desires, for better and for worse.
On one end of our society we have Larry Flynt, Hugh Hefner, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, George Soros and Mark Zuckerburg. Each of these elite represents an excess specific to their industry and applied morality. At the other end of our society we have Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, Nadya Suleman, Amanda Clayton, Occupy Wall St. and Patti Patton-Bader. Each of these ‘average Joes’ represent a completely different America. Many of these names may not be known to you, therefore it is imperative you Google each to find their intrinsic value to society. Make no mistake, these are the emblematic projections of America as seen by foreign countries. Our individualism earns a high water mark in flat ability to become something and someone. But there is a forgotten element foreign bodies see the most, our American servicemen and women. To some, these ambassadors of liberty mean the difference between a life of cruel servitude or a chance to experience some semblance of what every day American’s take for granted.

To you haters of American might, what did we win as conquest in our involvement during WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Granada, Columbia, Mogadishu, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya? How much territory did we colonize? How many free barrels of oil did we secure for our Nation? How many women, men and children did we enslave in these territories? Which of our corporations are now running parts of these countries on our behalf?
Lastly, why are you so selfish with your liberty that you would keep our military from helping others to gain theirs for the first time in history? Our choices are very clear in November, either you chose to re-strengthen America or you will choose to dilute America and her liberty.
